Set Tabs (Top of Canvas)

Tabs organize features into major categories like "Body", "Hair", "Clothing". Click a tab to see its customization options in the sidebar.

Sidebar (Left)

Shows customization options for the currently selected set:

💡 Tip: The sidebar can be hidden/shown via the Window menu, but set tabs remain visible.

Basic Customization

Showing and Hiding Features

Check or uncheck the checkbox next to any aspect to toggle visibility. This is how you choose which features appear on your character.

Changing Colors

  1. Click the colored square next to an aspect
  2. Choose a new color from the palette
  3. Or use the color picker for custom colors
💡 Color Tip: Use the "Color Link" tool (ColorLink in toolbar or Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+L) to keep colors synchronized across aspects that share the same color!

Exploring Styles

Each aspect may have multiple styles (visual variations). Click the Settings settings icon next to an aspect to expand it and see all available styles.

For example, "Hair" might have styles like "Short", "Long", "Wavy", "Straight" - try them all!

Advanced Tools

Global Mode Global

Global Mode is a powerful modifier that changes how other tools behave!

How it works:

  1. Enable Global Mode (Edit menu or Cmd/Ctrl+G)
  2. Now the Color Link, randomize, and reset tools affect ALL tabs instead of just the current tab
  3. Perfect for making sweeping changes across your entire character
  4. Disable when you want to work on just one tab at a time
💡 Tip: Global Mode doesn't do anything by itself - it modifies the behavior of other tools to work across all tabs!
